Northern Venture
|
The Northern
Working Group meets every Saturday at Banyule Community Health
Centre, Alamein Rd, West Heidelberg, to worship and plan ways to
meet and support the local community. Members also spend
time in the area through the week, chatting, giving out
leaflets, serving in local institutions.

Prayer Points
We praise God that He is
totally trustworthy and supplies all our needs. Knowing God listens
please pray:
Giving thanks for the
edifying first meeting we had with Richard, for the encouragement and
insights he offered. We pray for ongoing dialogue and the Lord's
unfolding vision
Pray for stability and
sensitive assistance for families as their children move to the new mega
school up near La Trobe Uni, beginning 2010
For the pastoral needs of
the people working in the large industrial community at the far northern
end of our parish, for the family and friends of the man who lost his
life in a horrific accident there recently. We pray for God's comfort
and strength for all who knew and loved the young woman from the area
who also lost her life in horrific circumstances recently.
